The grid is calculated in your browser

Gridwalk does not send the grid to a calculation service. The route count, diagram, example trace and count table are generated in the page.

Page memory and calculator input

This release does not store your grid or results in cookies, local storage, session storage or a server database. The form is handled locally and its controls do not serialize the grid into a page request. Reloading or leaving discards this page's working state. Your browser may independently restore tabs or form data or keep a browsing history.

Copy and downloaded notes

Copy asks the browser to put the current notes on the system clipboard. Clipboard-history tools or other software may then have access. If automatic copy is unavailable, a local manual-copy text area offers the current notes. Editing the grid clears that fallback. A clipboard request already sent to the browser cannot be recalled, although a late response cannot restore stale notes in the page.

Save text and Save JSON create local files containing the grid, exact total, counts to every cell and the example route. Your browser chooses how to save them and may record download history. No file upload is involved. Review the grid before sharing saved notes or clipboard content with anyone else.

Ordinary hosting requests

The intended hosting is Cloudflare Pages. Opening a page or asset produces a normal hosting request that may disclose your IP address, request time, URL, browser information and referrer to the provider. Provider operational and security logs are separate from the local calculation and follow that provider's policies.

No active ad or measurement loader in this release

There is no active Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon, advertising loader or consent-platform loader in this source release. Owner verification metadata and ads.txt identify the intended publisher; they do not themselves load ads or measure grid input. If the host's actual analytics or advertising setup changes, the disclosures must be updated to match.

That address is an existing verified shared portfolio forwarding alias, not a dedicated new Gridwalk mailbox. Do not send passwords, private worksheets or sensitive personal information.
